OUR PUPIL AMBASSADORS IN SCHOOL
OUR WONDERFUL PUPIL AMBASSADORS
At Waterfoot our pupils' voice is key to developing our school. At Waterfoot we have a wide range of pupil groups who lead whole school on a range of initiatives and ventures to ensure we are continually growing and developing. We have a school council, an eco-team, equality champions, happiness heroes, reading ambassadors, computing ambassadors and science ambassadors in school. Read on to find out about who they are and what they have been doing in school.
WE ARE THE SCHOOL COUNCIL
Hi, we are the School Council. We help to make sure that all the children’s voices in our school are heard! We help to make decisions for our school community. We often take part in special assemblies. This year we have talked about World Mental Health Day and International Braille day. We have written a new Equality Charter for children in our classes. We like to fundraise for charities, especially in our community.

WE ARE THE EQUALITY CHAMPIONS
We work with the adults in school to ensure we as a school celebrate diversity, promote inclusion and champion kindness and respect for everyone. We work with our teachers to identify ways to make our classrooms, the playground and school activities more inlcusive for all. We work with our EAL lead in developing our school environment for children with English as their second language. We also participate in events that help raise awareness of other clultures, backgrounds and abilities. We champion celebrating our differences!
